Exchange and Return Privilege
Highlands Jewelers exists to satisfy our customers. Unless otherwise specified below, your purchase may be exchanged or refunded 30 days from the original purchase date by the original client when accompanied with the Sales Slip. The item must be unused and unworn, in original condition, and in the original gift box and packaging, with all warranty cards, explanation booklets and designer tags and labels intact. Sale items, special order, modified and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Refunds are paid in the same manner as the original method of payment for purchase, with the exception of cash, which will be refunded in the form of a check. Payments made by check will be refunded after a 10 day holding period.
Gifts recipients will be issued a Merchandise Credit only. Gift Certificates are not redeemable for cash. Store credits are non-refundable, except in the form of Gift Certificates.
Layaway Policy
1) We have a convenient layaway policy. With a 20% down payment and a minimum payment of at least once a month, we will hold the item for up to 90 days.
2) If we have not received a payment within 60 days, the item will be returned to stock, and the deposit will be forfeited.
3) Layaways can be extended longer than the 90 day policy with special arrangements at the time of purchase.
4) Refunds on layaway merchandise will be given within 15 days of deposit date. Sorry, no refunds on special orders.

Special Orders
We regret that Special Orders are not returnable and no refunds or exchanges can be made. All Special Orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. A Special Order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, custom work or gift item ordered or altered at the clients request.
Jewelry Repair
Our jewelry repairs are done on the premises by our expert technician. Our repair work is guaranteed for one year.
Every repair job is different, and what our guarantee covers and does not cover, is explained in our Jewelry Repair and Design Blue Book. Excessive wear and exposure to chlorine and household chemicals voids any guarantees.
Watch Repair
We offer a one-year warranty on all mechanical overhauls and new movements. Watches that are not done in our store are delivered by courier to our expert watch technician, who is the finest watch technician we have had since our beginning in 1972.
